I love spending time outdoors immersed in the wonders of nature. Hiking is my chosen mode of travel for exploring the natural world. Birds and wildflowers are the jewels of our wild lands. Hiking puts me where these jewels and other treasures are abundant. I use a recreational vehicle (the fifth wheel trailer pictured above) as a base of operations so that I can more easily visit outstanding opportunities for exploring our natural world.

The reason for this web site is to share my photographic vision of nature with other people. I strive to capture the diverse beauty of nature so that others can see it more vividly and take more notice of it. It is my way of calling attention to the roses hoping that people will make more time in their lives to stop and smell them, thereby learning to value these wonders more appropriately.
